We moms need care too.
We know that things had shifted when we had our child. But trust that even years after, we can still build strong selves. We can regain proper function of our pelvic floors, as well as minimize potential impact on the rest of our bodies, including our knees, hips and back.
Know that we are with you and focused in assessing and treating your whole physiological picture, beyond the pelvic floor. We’ll thoroughly assess, taking into account your pelvic situation, as well as your overall movement which includes joint/muscle issues outside the pelvic area.
So, getting back into exercise or pushing for a half-marathon? Leaking? A feeling of heaviness in your pelvis? Whether we are pre- or post-menopausal, there are solutions to these issues and many times, it’s more than Kegels. Let’s figure them out together.
Our bodies just went through one of the most emotional and physical feats that it will ever encounter. We want to get back to “being me”, fast.
We may have pain in our hips or back, uncertainty around sex, leaking or wanting to get back to exercise. Now is the time to focus on our post-baby bodies, physically and psychologically. In time and with help, we can heal and get moving again, safely and with confidence.
Whether it’s our first or 4th, the thought of labour and the recovery time after is…well, intimidating! We focus on proper posturing and movement to promote a healthy mom and baby, as well as a pain-free pregnancy.
